Program Details & Opportunities

    An 8 week, on-the-job work experience earning $13.00 per hr. This includes one week of training and development on work readiness skills and workplace etiquette.

    Providing real-world work experience to school-aged youth and young adults equips them with the exposure and skills needed to begin a path toward self-sufficiency and financial responsibility.

    • Open to TANF-eligible in-school students (ages 14–18) in Lucas County
    • Earn $13.00 per hour
    • Full-time, 8-week program (including one week of training and development)

    • Minor Work Permit (ages 14–15, signed)

    • Income verification (last 30 days or proof of benefits such as WIC, SNAP, etc.)
    • Zero Income Verification Form (for household members 18+ with no income)
